Guidelines for Group Meetings
1. The main purpose of this meeting is to share feelings such as pain, regret,
resentment, helplessness, anger, happiness, sadness, etc.
2. This is not a group therapy session but a group sharing and praying session.
3. Everything said in this meeting is to be held in strictest confidence.
4. There is no pressure here, if you don't feel up to sharing then you don't have to. We ask that at least you give your first name.
5. Our focus is on GOD and on ourselves, not on other people and their problems. Therefore when we share, we share where we/I am today.
6. Our goal is to accomplish healing and trust among one another in the group.
7. Remember that we are not trying to give advice or to
chastise anyone. We are just here to listen and to share our own feelings and to
lift one another in
prayer.
8. Confessing, (being honest) where we are in our own situation is important.
9. Coming out to the meeting diligently is encouraged, We must work our program!
10. Each member is asked to keep sharing to 2 min. or less in line with the lesson taught and where "I" am.
