
SYMPTOMS OF ADDICTION
1. Denial of the problem.
2. Once taking a drink or drug you are unable to stop.
3. Lying, cheating, stealing, excuses, all for the purpose of continued drinking/drugging.
4. The need for a morning drink or drug.
5. Unable to get to work, lateness for work, early departure because of the need to drink/drug.
6. Any crisis promotes drinking, and drugging.
7. Drunk/drugged driving.
8. Hospitalization for drink and drug related health problems.
9. Blackouts, loss of memory for varying periods of time.
10. Obtaining money through sexual and immoral practices to procure drink/drug.
11. Lack of responsibility to spouse and children, family members.
12. Drinking/drugging to build up self confidence.
And of some have compassion, making a difference; and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
